pyramid head

quick mini rough drawing of the notorious pyramid head from the Silent Hill franchise. i plan to do a painting based on this character later so i done a few rough sketches on the basic human figure, taking into consideration posture and more importantly, how the figure carries its own weight. though this the only complete rough, im not too happy with the overall pose and im working on various side views.

I havent touched this bolg thin in a while because i'm working on some new drawings.

A line drawing done large scale, using a limited range of coloured inks and pieces of cotton wool. It was a constant struggle to keep it as simple as possible, since one of my favourite points of drawing is the detail itself.

The trip to Compton Verney

03 October 2008 The first trip arranged by my university was to the gallery of Compton Verney. The great mansion turned gallery was host to numerous of interesting exhibits. the main exhibits showing this day (and the start of our assignment), were works by Jack B. Yeats and Oskar Kokoschka. While Kokoschka's work involved a kind of life n' times during the 2 world wars, Yeats work, done a little before that time, focused on the many aspects of the circus and the performers. It was quite an insperational trip and its givin me a few ideas, plus a bit of motivation for researching circuses.

The sketch shown here is a doodle that I was doing on the way back home. Its supposed to be a jester's wand, since I was thinking on the lines of circus clowns.

I finally got this thing up n' running ! ! !
